Now seeing super high fevers, severe symptoms, but COVID/flu neg. Sometimes our rapid tests have false negatives, but I'm wondering about bird flu. And we have no real info to go off thanks to the federal censorship of health info right now. So, mask up. Wash hands. Stay vigilant. 2/2

Back at urgent care, and my Spidey senses are tingling. Remembering 5 years ago when I was taking care of a patient: flu neg, but looked like shit, and chest xr also looked like shit, and nothing like I had seen before. Flash forward a month to the shutdowns, and I *know* that patient had COVID. 1/

Haaaaaaaaaaaa.......If the proposed Republican budget rules all goes into effect, and SAVE/PAYE/REPAYE are lost, I literally will not be able to afford my mortgage. My student loan repayments would go from $2k to over $6k per month.

Just the pervasive existential dread of still trying to meet societal benchmarks of life, according to old rules (house, insurance, job, dog, family), while also trying to predict the rules/patterns of whatever hellhole we're entering the next few years

I wouldn't say I have fallen out of love with drawing, or making art. in fact, I love it just as much if not more than years past ; but the inability to see that love through is frustrating. the obvious decrease in engagement and opportunities is frustrating. this year was one of burnout for so many

11 cases (and there may be a few more, they don't have all of December's numbers), but an amazing and inspiring accomplishment for sure. When you care about people, regardless of what nation they come from, and can unite great minds, this is what can happen.

This year is ending like a dumpster fire. I'm not sure how much more I can take..

I'm so angry at my partner's parents. I feel like they have stolen our future, and I don't know if I will ever be able to forgive them. I feel trapped.
