Acta Plantarum tells me this could be Viola riviniana 🌱 growing on pastureland. I was able to lay down on the grass, while Lilly the calf-sized dog waited patiently.

I did this with friends in New York. We tried on the most expensive ballroom gowns. A lot of fun and laughter.

Two early purple dead nettles flower among their leaves and fallen hay.

Purple dead nettle, Lamium purpureum. Have also seen one white crocus peeking up through the grass and violets springing up all over. Snowdrops hold their own.🌱

Os estiletes curvam-se para trás e os estigmas, que se localizam no topo dos estiletes, têm uma cabeça bem distinta. É uma planta trepadeira semi-lenhosa, nativa do sudeste do Brasil.

We think our two hives made it through the winter. We used to have 20 hives. It is so sad to see a failed hive full of honey and pollen. It's happened to us too.

Not the best photo, because I couldn't lie down on the ground to get any closer. Here are violets in Spilimbergo, Friuli Venezia Giulia, which is usually a month ahead of our microclimate.
