Been a tough week or two. The kind that makes you appreciate the small wins.
Last night I had five hrs uninterrupted sleep, and I had a decent day a work today. This is progress!
Tonight, I'm cooking fajitas, then going out with some friends to drink wine. Happy Friday!
I'm proper grumpy. January blues have set in. My twinkly lights have gone, I'm back at work and it's fooking freezing, so currently looking at sunny holidays, where the Bank Hols are, and planning what days I can take off to maximise my entitlement 😅
It's so disheartening, isn't it? This was a Christmas gift as well, and one I had asked for, but the writing was shocking. Nobody we know, btw. Actually a musicians autobiography.
38 pages deep in one of the worst written books I've ever read. I usually finish anyway, but I've just flicked to halfway to see if it gets better. Too many books, too little time for that.
Is anyone else running various story arcs through their head of what will happen in Gavin and Stacey on Christmas Day, whilr trying to decide which is most feasible/satisfying?

Come home to no running water across several postcodes in area, and potentially hrs/days before it's fixed.
Que, a mad hunt for bottled water. Local Facebook pages off the hook with posts where water can/cannot be found. Very reminiscent of the flour and toilet rolls days during covid.

😅 That's my go to male present in our family. Have you seen those sucky to the wall speakers for the shower. He can play all his bluetooth music through it. Got one as a stocking filler for my OH x
