A double knit buttonband over a long cardigan is so beautiful and worth the effort, but oof can it be a slog. Beautiful things take time though. 🧶
This is the first thing I ever knit for my husband about 20ish years ago when we first started dating. It's a simple 2x2 rib scarf using LB Fisherman's Wool and is holding on pretty strong 🧶
It kills me to have a big floppy no collar WiP for so long, but I need to finish the bottom ribbing before moving on to the double knit button band (give me strength for that 🤣).
