The same shelter that rescued our dogs asked for donations to pay for the surgery of an older dog. My spouse shared the story: she spent 13 years in the shelter because people do not adopt black dogs (shocked in metal-head).
Long story short: mum will be adopting an old gurl and giving her a home.
