To say there's a lot of obvious nods in THE BRIGHTEST BLAZE to what's happening right now in the real world would be, well, obvious: Hateful political pundits on The Badger News Network. A speaking tour to bring the power back to the "real humans." And yes, counterprotests and safe spaces. This book is overall light and funny, but it's also a great big middle finger to people who look at our differences as something bad rather than what makes us beautiful. What makes our world beautiful. Thank you for being a real-life superhero and fighting the good fight, and thank you for being a Super Supporter of Vector City, Joan, Sadie, and the crew. 💥❤️
