I can’t believe there are so many gullible people who believe in conspiracy theories. Everyone knows that conspiracy theories were created by the KGB in 1953 to distract people.

The problem is, the left took the term and bastardized the true meaning of it and the right have it a wrong perception of that. Now most people look at the term and associate it with left wing politics. When in reality all it meant was an awakening of the mind to actually think for yourself.

Then sometime during Trump's first presidency is when you really started noticing liberals starting to use it. Being "woke" went from being a phrase that meant you were anti-government and anti establishment to meaning you were very liberal and followed their ideology closely. I'm curious as to when it switched and when liberals took it it over.
