I'm so pleased for you!
Everyone needs an editor
my son is quite sad too.
I just want to gut punch every pundit and finance bro describing this Budget as "boring". So sorry this Fuck You Budget that will cause real and lasting harm to so many was insufficiently amusing. #nzpol
Most concerning of all is that the Minister of Education will have the power to direct local schools to enter the conversion process for being a charter school based on 'government priorities' or 'based on state school performance’. This direction can happen without any input from the school board, the teachers, or the community.
I just saw this. Uhhhhhhh wtf www.scoop.co.nz/stories/ED24...
He said he liked them because they were winners - that was the only reason. He liked the team because they won. Told me everything about him and his character. I find it hard to believe he can't see how utterly shallow that shows him to be.

I had noticeable asthma for a good week after my recent covid, perhaps still a little now but vastly better than it was. It was really not a nice experience (my 3rd infection) though the antivirals helped (but less so than last time). Sending my wishes that you feel much better soon.
Yes, this. Kneading scones.

Word of the day: kakistocracy (/kækɪˈstɒkrəsi/, /kækɪsˈtɒ-/).
A kakistocracy is a government run by the worst, least qualified, or most unscrupulous citizens.

oh I know. I would wake in the night and it would still be in my head.
Just going to leave this here, given the full frontal bullshit spouted by our minister of education this week, which are nothing more than taking points drilled into her by the NZ Initiative.
The woman who got a dodgy drug testing company to make misleading claims about meth use so that she could kick people out of state houses is now in charge of Pharmac. We are fucked.
fuck off
so good!
laughing so hard
Remember the RW playbook:
1) Degrade the public health service
2) Announce its failure
3) Explain privatization will fix it
4) Sell it to their friends (and Cigareti himself)
5) Profit off your suffering
