Emerald Dragon was an RPG originally made by Glodia for Japanese PC's in 1989. But #Glodia didn't stop there! What about the next game they made after #EmeraldDragon? Let's give it a try! This 1991 title was the last game they made for the #8bit #PC88!

Well, it was nice knowing you. According to today's records, that never happened. Bye bye.

My brother got a used FZ-10 for $130 around then. There were still a handful of final games trickling out.

Where did you live? I don't think Walmart ever sold 3DO.

According to the internet we all paid $649 for a Neo Geo and $699 for a 3DO. People like me who bought them used for much less later in the 90's just don't exist apparently.
Oh no, I'm disappearing!

Oh man, don't even get me started about used prices. According to the internet we all paid $649 for a Neo Geo and $699 for a 3DO. People like me who bought them used for much less later in the 90's just don't exist apparently.

Sure, game prices 30 years ago aren't important in the grand scheme, but it feels like our lived history is being invalidated and replaced/erased. As if it doesn't count anymore.

Being middle-aged, it's bad enough that the world I grew up in is disappearing. Now our written history is being gaslighted away by AI and younger generations. You've gotta mention these are Canadian prices! $88 for Killer Instinct? $95 for Illusion of Gaia? At least show me round numbers!

It means your animators don't want to design additional models to accomodate wardrobe changes. Maybe if they do an away episode where you go camping or something you'll get a second outfit one day.

There are several unreleased Neo Geo games, including this one, known to be dumped and in the hands of private collectors. Unfortumately they haven't shared what they have.

This is not funny. It's rude. Why would I spend months working on a video and then record it during the one week I'm stuffy?

That's interesting. Seems like everyone always attributes Pulstar to former Irem staff. Is that just 'lore' that has developed in the gaming community over the years?

If you're worried about it, I would use Google to cross-check other sources, like the SNK Wiki (snk.fandom.com/wiki/), although they may be just copying each other, so you're right we don't really know for sure. This is the best we have.

Well, it's not on the same level as Castlevania 2, for example. The first time we rented that game we were similarly confused, and didn't get anywhere. However, soon after a friend showed us where to go, and we got Nintendo Power, and that game blossomed into one of our favorite experiences.

Yeah, things were moving well ahead of the holidays, but then I got sick and lost my voice right when it was time to record. I ended up writing the next video during that time.

Hated Jaws as a kid. It was the first ever game we rented (literally everything else at the store was rented out) and we were confused as kids. Now, knowing it was developed by Westone, I have revisited and had some fun with it.

Alien Challenge is from 1994, but the PGM system was released in 1997.
You can tell from the bootup sequence in the video it's not PGM hardware.

I understand that as a viewer more than a week feels like an eternity, but the videos take what they take to make; I don't know what I'm supposed to do.
Anyway, I got sick a couple of times. We have a date now.
