Bam Adebayo with the most forgettable 80 burger of all time thanks to the Baltimore Ravens.
RN the one obvious remaining hole along the Browns o-line is LT. Could certainly still be looking to sign one, but currently LT feels like a spot they may be prioritizing in the draft. First round tackle options include: Fano, Mauigoa, Freeling, Lomu, Miller
Teven Jenkins is BACK with the Browns as their offensive line continues to take shape roundtable.io/sports/nfl/b...
Browns being aggressive in the guard market feels pretty notable as far as Joel Bitonio's future is concerned. Appears they're preparing for life without him.
Look for the Browns to continue to aggressively comb the guard market today.
Hardly feels like a coincidence that Mike Rutenberg mentioned Quincy Williams last week when talking about the importance of building relationships w/ players.
Rutenberg was in Jacksonville when Williams was drafted. Then he joined the Jets in 2021 when Rutenberg was a LB coach
The Browns didn't receive any comp picks this year while their division rivals Baltimore and Pittsburgh each topped the list with 4 a piece. Eagles also have 4.

Zion Johnson started all but one regular-season game at LG for the Chargers last season (sat in Week 18 before playoffs) plus the WC game.
PFF gave him a 57 overall grade (53/81), a 53.4 run blocking grade (64/81) and a 60.6 pass blocking grade (49/81) for the 2025 season.
my point was proven at least lol
As free agent frenzy continues, Mike Evans is still out there and the Browns need WRs. Truth is, though, he doesn't make as much sense for Cleveland as ppl think:

Pistons have lost 4 straight now and thw Celtics are very much breathing down their neck. Gonna be a fun final month of the season.
There was some good. There was some bad. But that second quarter...oof. Observations from the Cavaliers 109-98 loss to the Celtics: roundtable.io/sports/nba/c...
We getting one of those Donovan Mitchell games?
Mercilessly the second quarter is over. The Cavs scored 10 points and shot 4-25 from the floor, including 0-14 from three. It's honestly remarkable they're ONLY down 20.
For as bad as the Cavaliers are playing this quarter (they've made 1 FG through the first 7:30) somehow they've held the Celtics to just 10 points.
Make that 13%
The Cavs are currently shooting 15% from three right now. They've made just 1 FG though the first 5 minutes of the second quarter.
The Celtics are better for their 5 months without Tatum. Even when he leaves the floor they don't miss a beat cause they've been doing it without him all season.

Took a stab at executing a Mock Offseason on Locked on Browns
- Reworked a few contracts
- Retained some free agents
- Signed some external ones
- Made 2 notable trades
- Did another Mock Draft
The results? Well, see what you think...
Cavs HC Kenny Atkinson says Donovan Mitchell participated fully in practice on Friday. Max Strus did about 90%. Dean Wade was full. Jarrett Allen did not practice but he reiterated that it's not s long term thing for him.
New Browns OC Travis Switzer is plenty confident that Shedeur Sanders can run the offense he and Todd Monken are bringing to Cleveland:

Mike Rutenberg isn't worried about winning over the Browns defensive players who have developed such an affinity for Jim Schwartz these last three years.
For him it all starts with 1 thing: Relationships

As exclusive rights free agents, the tender is essentially a one-year contract at the league minimum based on the number of accrued seasons (less than 3) and if executed those players cannot negotiate with other teams.
The Browns have tendered the following exclusive rights free agents:
TE Brenden Bates
WR Malachi Corley
LB Winston Reid
LS Rex Sunahara
K Andre Szmyt
WR Jamari Thrash
Everyone has talked about the passion new Browns DC Mike Rutenberg coaches with.
As he put it "I don't know any other way"
Another point from Mike Rutenberg's introductory presser, he's not trying to reinvent the wheel.
Believes in "style over scheme"

Mike Rutenberg was asked about winning over the guys in the defensive room, who had an affinity for Jim Schwartz.
For him it all comes down to relationship building:
Browns STC Byron Storer about how to turn the special teams units around: We're gonna master the basics. We're going to be fundamentally and technically sound and then go from there.
Made it clear he believes in a lot of the players who are here.
