It’s a pain in the ass, because you won’t be able to use your credit card until your new one arrives; however, it’s well worth the trouble to stop reoccurring fraudulent charges.
TIP: ask for expedited replacement. They’ll often overnight the card at no additional charge, depending on your bank.
Otherwise, the merchant that is fraudulently making transactions will be able to make payments on your replacement card number.
In fact, when you’re on the phone with your card issuing bank reporting fraud, ask them to disconnect all mobile wallet connections before reissuing new card number.
TIL: if you ever discover fraudulent purchases on your credit card, you need to check if they originated from a mobile payment wallet, like Apple Pay. If so, you *must* disconnect your card from Apple Pay before you get a new card number reissued, and reconnect your new card once it arrives.

Glad that an alternative platform like this exists. Went to the other socials recently, and good gracious, it felt like a Windows PC that hasn’t been patched in 10 years.. just full of unwanted and irrelevant stuff.
Sometimes, when traveling for work and staying in a high density location, I’ll spend a few minutes Rick Roll casting to open TVs. It’s 100x better when you can hear the opening drum sequence and the people’s response.
