The wine bottle is empty but the night is still youngβ¦
Special, even in the context of that period
Who died many times over watching him.
Iβd take Gudmundsson, Iβm not sure I can listen to any more praise for somebody who can get from one box to another with astonishing regularity, but achieve the square root of fuck all in either.
Pretty sure Rotherham wouldnβt swap him for Piroe either
If you like swearing and watching Luke OβNien holding the hold aloft, above his head on that touchline for minutes at a time, I can see why youβd love the placeβ¦
Just as a side-vent, can we just not involve Piroe in the Premier League match day squads at all? Every time he comes on at this level he resembles winning a βMake a Wishβ candidate. It just isnβt happening.
Sunderland were horrible, and cynical to a degree thatβd even have City and Arsenal impressed, but LUFC were abject, a team that seemingly turned up expecting things to happen, but lacking in any of the purpose we usually exude at home to ensure it did.
Burnley at home is not an appealing prospect.
Meanwhile the satirical panel show dies a slow death. Redundant.
Iβm excitedly anticipating Enrico Pallazzo performing The Star-Spangled Banner at Trumpβs next official function.
I hope a Muslim snags a ticket ahead of him, next time he joins the online queue.
Better to lose everything you had, than contemplate giving someone else access to similar opportunities, huh?
You always wonder how a party thatβs threatening to worsen peopleβs employment pay and conditions, strip them of their human rights and potentially bankrupt them if they get ill, even when many have contributed tax for decades, could ever hope to get in power.
Then you get the depressing reminder.
The thought of him going home to cry into his flag will cushion the disappointment of the result, that and the fact heβs not a regular.
Talking of bellends, itβs reassuring that all it takes is a Ramadan break to highlight the Reform supporters in the crowd. Some weirdo a couple of rows in front screamed βfuck off!β throughout that whole disruptive minute.
Maybe we could make it two next time, it might just trigger an aneurism.
After a generally abysmal showing, deciding that two bookings in added time, one for time wasting, didnβt even merit an extra 15 seconds of play was the clincher. Peter Bankes has achieved the truly impressive and claimed the title of biggest bellend to officiate at Elland Road this season.

Thoughts and prayers for Laura
Has Starmer gone yet?
I voted Green in the last election, partly as an act of conscience, primarily as the seat was so safe I could register a protest without fear.
Now the Greens look a legitimate option, at least as a voice in a hung parliament.
Hope it was worth blocking Burnham, lads.
8 months away. Certainly putting in the hard promo yards.

Strong work on the autocorrect front there. Damn phonesβ¦
Accused of being a mega what?
I didnβt have an issue with the horror aspect, more that it was essentially From Dusk βTill Dawn, stripped of exploitation roots and instead saddled with a (necessary) message that wasnβt delivered with any of the deft skill that Jordan Peele managed in his first couple of films.
Disappointed but not surprised, much of the narrative for award season is almost etched in stone by the time the nominations are announced anyway. Poor Thingsβ recent success was always going to go against all involved too.
They also had Cornelius and Zira, the most human and humorous characters from either species.
Thought 2025 was a thoroughly underwhelming year at the cinema, but at least I can take heart that arguably the best film of a fairly mediocre field has triumphed at the BAFTAs. Just canβt get with the hype for Sinners and was beginning to wonder if it was only me.
