Also I feel I need to add - this does NOT apply to human-made music that uses electronic tools! Just the same as digital art is still absolutely human art. Whether it's a physical instrument or a digital keyboard, it's still human music! But if it's an AI prompt, it's trash.

A lot of it is that AI is ripping directly from real musicians and remixing in their own weird way. After all, that's what AI did with artwork.

I'm trying to avoid AI as much as possible and it's seeping into my life anyway and I resent it.

I use Youtube Music, mostly on my phone. I don't know if there's a way to force it to provide only human music :(

Art and music are some of the last havens we have against horrors we otherwise can't avoid. It feels deeply profane to take something that should be beautiful and mass produce it through a machine that thinks it knows what music is supposed to be.

Music isn't just sounds. Fuck AI.

It's bad enough that AI garbage is invading our art spaces, but every so often I find it needling its way into music playlists, where something feels a bit off and I check, & it's an AI song.

It is violating. I want art and music by human beings, not machines. I can't even trust new music anymore.

Waking up and thinking I slept and hour later than I actually did automatically axes my motivation for the rest of the day. Can we just get rid of daylight saving time already??

Thank you for having me paint her! The trick is to tone your paper first with whatever color you want prominent through the piece. In this case, I put a wash of blue archival waterproof acrylic ink down on the watercolor paper before painting!

I had to look up what that was - what a neat substance! Vegetable tanned leather (also known as tooling leather) is cowhide that goes through a tanning process that uses plant-tannins. It's great for carving and shaping and holds its shape very well.

Also I get incandescently angry any time I see a billboard, ESPECIALLY the brightly lit ones. I should be able to travel without having ads shoved in my face! There are laws against distracted driving, yet companies are allowed to put giant TV screens on the side of the highway? 'Fuck off' indeed!

Every day I mourn how bad things have gotten. If I pay for a service I expect there to be no ads. Full stop. Out of nowhere a streaming service I pay for suddenly started showing ads and I had to figure out why. Turns out they added another tier that was ad-free and my plan now had ads. Diabolical.

Eagle Owls have such complex patterns and you captured those striations perfectly!
