His song “We Created Putin” is, while crankish, also completely accurate and I highly recommend it.

But ultimately, these few pages suffer a degree of framing that appear quite flatly unnecessarily and oddly phrased that makes me cast a suspicious glance on what other framing I’ve missed. It’s a good book beyond that and I’m sure she’s a lovely thinker besides, though.
Personally, I find the idea of calling John Stewart Mill’s worldview as essentially non-ideological liberalism to be almost insultingly bizarre in its passive assertion, I am utterly bamboozled by the framing.
To me, this fractures the work substantially by creating a forced framing of liberalism as this “good” non-ideology ideology by rattling off a few instances of thoughtful liberals as a means of showing contrast while not offering a proper nuance to liberalism’s historically contextualized critics.
I find there’s a very core problem in her work that first arises on pages 108 and 110 where she attempts to frame socialists (but not conservatives) as a black-and-white ideological entity and says that John Stewart Mill was somehow both non-ideological and non-doctrinaire liberal at the same time.
