It has permeated the university systems. I have not been forced to use it, but I did test copilot. I asked about me at the university. It started out with basic information, then made up projects I had nothing to do with. 1/3

The Eagles were awesome! One of the few sci-fi ships that looked plausible to my 10 year old brain back then and still today.

There was an episode where they were able to communicate with Earth. They saw pictures of a few cities that were domed and perched in the sky like the Jetson’s home. Memory is murky though. I don’t recall if they ever made it back- now I need to do a rewatch after 40 years. 😂

…the typical “good old days” nonsense. Ken listened to them and set them straight. Well, I don’t know if they changed their tune, but at least he made his case that they were wrong about 50s/60s life. 2/2

Penn & Teller (iirc) did a portion of a show (Bullsh!t) about this. The actor who played Eddie, Ken Osmond, met some guys who watched the show as kids. The men talked about how great it would have been to mom making lunches/dinner, wasn’t working outside the home. … 1/2

That all I have been telling people the second I woke up and saw the new the other week. I can do a good part of my job from home, but we have a lot of commuter students and staff who need to be on campus. This is going to hurt. Also I completely forgot to fill up earlier today. Damn.
