I had a permit as a tenant in 2017, other neighborsdid too. Thats how other cities work as well.
Unless they changed it.
The permit is determined by civic number, not who's name is on the mortgage.
It's a landlord issue. It's their responsibility to provision the tenant with a permit.
Why should the city further subsidize what should ultimately be a landlord problem?
