Explain my bias.

They’ll flood the zone with ridiculous and absurd narratives, create enough public fatigue so they can move on from what amounts to a massive war crime.

I wouldn’t put anything past them but it does lend some weight to conjecture they were rushed into this thing vs. had it planned it for months.

Given their claim of 2000 strikes on day 1, I wouldn’t be surprised if their “plan” factored a large number of civilian casualties.

My theory:

The school was mistaken for an IRGC base by their intel (the fatal error)

It was targeted for a double strike to ensure maximum lethality (this regime’s new motto)

No ground assets to confirm they hit what they intended.

They’re more interested in looking strong than being right

If they believed it to be an IRGC compound, they would’ve scheduled a double strike for “maximum lethality”, which the crazy SecWar drones on about daily.

They’re also bombing oil depots and water desalination plants.

A war fought without honor, is not a just war.

They’d rather it go away.

It was a US strike that killed 165 schoolgirls. Mostly aged 7-12.

While it was likely unintentional, the decision to strike a military target in a densely populated civilian area was not.

Yes, difficult decisions have to be made in war.

I don’t trust this bloodthirsty regime to make good ones.

A wise administration wouldn’t start another war in the Middle East.

A competent administration wouldn’t bomb an elementary school full of children on day 1 of the war they started.

They are neither.

Beyond our shores, I worry about consequences when the rest of the world catches on.

Good guys shouldn’t have to struggle so much to prove they’re the good guys.

When comms from the Commander and SecWar are drenched in bloodlust, it makes you look more like the crazy guys.

When you drag your feet to own your screwups, such as the bombing of an elementary school full of kids, it makes you look no different than the guys you’re at war with.

So when you circumvent the Constitution with word games, it makes you look more like the shady guys.

When you produce a series of bizarre war hype videos, it makes you look more like the unhinged guys.

Here’s the thing about using the “Trust us, we’re the good guys” premise to wage a war.

It puts you on the hook to prove you’re the good guys.
