My fault for speaking those words into existence

Enjoyer of the Mariners. Logan Gilbert is the Mariners ace - Pulling the ball is good - Matt Brashβs biggest fan and never doubted him ever. Oh and I make content too! π https://youtube.com/@brashfan?si=z6K7tCwLXUChIeVV

Heβs the Kyle Schwarber version of 3B right now. Why is he so insistent on hurting his team by playing third when Bregman is a consistent GG caliber third baseman?

Sorry for not being active on this platform, not going to lie kinda forgot this existed. But I hope all has been well for you :)
At what point do the Dodgers sign an entire team before the Mariners get an impact bat

I do sometimes wonder what Witt would have gotten one day had he decided to test the open market
Also I would like to point out the Jon Bois reference in the top comment
OH. MY. GOSH.
They really might be throwing in the towel.
I think Soto will peak with the Mets with a season that mirrors his 2020 season (202 wRC+) over a full season. Even if heβs a minus baserunner and a mediocre defender, heβs still a generational talent at the plate. Heβs worth $50 million a year.
My thoughts on the Soto deal:
Thatβs a LOT of money.
Juan Soto deserves a LOT of money.
Last year was obviously incredible, but I donβt think Soto has hit his peak yet. He underperformed his xwOBA by 40 points last year.
Can we just please stop with these Mariners SP not named Luis Castillo trades in general, because youβre not going to get them unless you give a ridiculous amount
My thoughts on the Adames contract
His batted ball data is very consistent. Heβll strike out but he still hits the ball hard, and walks. His defense slipped a lot last year, but heβs still probably above average defensively. Not going to be an insanely good deal, but itβs a good move.
Might be me trying to cope but I really donβt see it. With Dipoto saying itβs plan z and all. Luis is the only one that I can see realistically, think the value of the younger 4 is just too high. I really hope Iβm right on that.
They have a straight up good offense. If they can cobble together a not terrible rotation, look out.
Just no.
Mitch Garver 2025 season going to be lit
Need one of those see through screens π
He did, hence the βmostlyβ healthy part. Played in 106 (thought it was way more actually) games between AAA and the majors
One of the most interesting developments of the 2024 season was that we saw a mostly healthy full season of Dominic Canzone, and yet we still have no idea if he can be a major league caliber player or not.
