I bought a new chair off of amazon because my old one is decrepit and small, didn't check the height, and the new chair is so tall that my feet don't touch the ground...
No spoilers but you could definitely tell that Fujimoto has been wanting to end it for a few months at least
The latest Chainsaw Man chapter is literally the most "the author is sick of working on this" chapter i've ever seen
just learned about hyper vigilance and it explains way too much about me
mario with his arms crossed saying "Tank you-a so much for buying-a my product!"
happy mario day
i sometimes think about that post that says every few months someone will make a video about monster hunter 1's difficulty and it'll get hundreds of thousands of views from people who watched the last dozen videos about the same thing
sakamoto days adding a new minor filler bad guy in the middle of an arc climax, i cant anymore man this is worse than what was going on with dandadan a few months back
"this story sucks, it must the the translators fault that i'm not experiencing the original intended peak storytelling" sort of shit. like, no, it really is that bad dude
starting to notice that the anti-localization crowd is starting to blame poorly written stories on the localization instead which is just ?????

its kind of funny how useless the steam curators feature is unless you're looking for very specific information
also hello im still alive im just going through a big mental health shakeup i guesssssss
im watching max play the new hotel barcelona update where they said they were fixing everything everything people complained about and yet somehow all of my own complaints are still in there (bad sound design, weightless everything)
mewgenics would be 10/10 if the start of runs wasn't so insanely tedious
The EVO situation is dire.
Two screenshots. On the top: PatStaresAt on the character creator of Atlyss. A character of the Kubold species is visible with over-exaggerated wide hips and breasts. Her arms and midriff are visible, the rest is covered by clothing. On the bottom: Woolie and Reggie playing Crushing Force, a furry fighting game featuring exclusively very fat characters
I can't believe both @patstaresat.bsky.social and @wooliewoolz.bsky.social had the wildest introduction to games made by and for furries at the exact same time
I beat Proof of a Hero in Monster Hunter Wilds
My MH Wilds profile with my shiny new nameplate
300 hours + an intense 45 minute fight later i can confidently say that I still think Monster Hunter Wilds is straight ass, good luck to the devs trying to make an expansion that'll make everyone happy LOL
decided to do monster hunter stuff off-stream because i dont want to do more streams without the L2D
AT arkveld feels like a step in the right direction for a game that's flawed at its core, but i also dont want master rank to be a rotation of 10 ATveld-tier monsters if that makes sense
was steampunk ever actually a huge breakout genre or has it always been niche
i cant remember any popular steampunk media for the life of me but at the same time i distinctly recall there being a period on the internet where it was incredibly overexposed
I was thinking tonight's stream was gonna be monster hunter but I've finally caught the art bug again (currently doing derusting and warmups so no posting) so I dont know if I want to stream or if I just want to keep drawing
i'm guilty of this on the money sense at least, there's a lot of things I'd be willing to try out if I had a more stable source of income right now
I wonder how much accessibility for an existing IP affects how willing ppl are to get into it, VS a new IP having no legacy and no accessible media (videos, articles, first entry costs money, etc)
feels like recently there's been ppl saying only legacy IPs thrive but refuse to touch indies
may also be that it feels like a chunk of the game is just missing, as if the funding cut from netease really impacted a lot of it volume
not to say that romeo feels entirely unfocused, but it also feels like a lot of ideas were "one take only" if that makes sense
after stewing more on romeo is a deadman, i'm left wondering if at some point suda will make a more focused, well-rounded game again. romeo is a great game but it definitely feels very much like one long stream of consciousness of ideas, which is cool, but i want to see another NMH/K7/KiD y'know
