IMO wholesome, family-friendly, & safe-for-work are the exact opposite of most NSFW storylines. Hallmark family movie-style story with twisty, angsty, broken, jaded, spicy MCs are great, just no-spice. 🤬 is ok, but dialogue that is 75% cursing is not. Hope this makes sense.

I absolutely will take dystopian. I have preferences, yes, but other than what I have mentioned on my MSWL, I am not averse to such themes. A story that has hopeful vibes is a YES for me.

Ahh, your question makes me sad because I haven't read any sci-fi recently. I LOVE #SciFi, and the last series I read was Jess Anastasi's Atrophy series. I haven't been able to find no-spice sci-fi. I'd love some rec if you or anyone else have them.

Hello Cassie, violence I avoid is torture, the sadistic, someone taking pleasure in causing pain, gore-filled scenes that detail every splatter. I'm a visual thinker, & having those visuals in my head are😵‍💫. A drive-by, a shootout, an explosion, etc., or something that aids in building the story is👍🏼

Our first chat was a wonderful hour filled with chatter & excitement. I told Ree I was hooked from the first pages & just knew I wanted to work with her & her story. It was a tough span of time in my life, but she was so generous & accommodating. And now, we have the best version of our gargoyle.

2025 was my first year with #RevPit. The experience was amazing, so I volunteered again this year. Battling it out with the other editors for our finalists—yes, we battle—is one of the best parts of RevPit. Fortunately, my rival & I had a very civilized battle & I chose @reeaugustine.bsky.social.
