Не, не е.

Има напълно функционални телефони с Android (open source) без Google. Проблемът най-вече е в приложенията, които в огромната си част разчитат на google play services, защото е по-лесно, вместо да измислят топлата вода. Като не ти работи месинджърът и банкирането, за какво ти е тоя смартфон...
