We have a cold room and got a note several weeks ago essentially telling us that if you had anything to go through disclosure review, you should submit it ASAP, no guarantees on timing and availability of future reviews.
I'm interested in working with people and systems who want to do the triage work that many states will now need- and with little to no resources- to backfill these tremendous losses. My DMs are open.
States are successful when federal-level leadership gives them guardrails, support, data, and accountability to achieve their goals.
States have *always* been in the ed policy driver's seat. There's nothing to give back to them.
There is much, however, to take away. And that's what's happening.
After a multi-year intentional hiatus from Twitter, I just had so much fun following accounts that I've missed and getting re-engaged on social with colleagues near and far. Let's see how this goes!
