I really wish this had just carried over and became a norm.
Mask when youβre sick, in a crowded area, in medical settings - if these small changes had stuck we would see so much less disease transmission.
Like, letβs also get fresh air and hepas!
Shared air is gross!

I was talking to my sister today and said, βWhen a medical appt or interaction goes well that is the exception not the norm.β
And realizing that thought after saying it made me so very sad.
I know Iβm not the only one so the sadness is for myself and everyone else whose experienced the same.

When Iβm crashing my anxiety goes up and I feel very frenetic.
I know this is the MCAS and inflammation, but it is such a deeply unsettling feeling and often makes me feel worse bc it makes it hard to really rest.

The leaders of the covid amnesia project are in charge. They donβt want you to remember nightmares from 6 years ago and 1.2 million deaths.
Of course if they were in charge then, they would have handled Covid as completely as they are handling measles.

Yes, it was a negative outcome. But I really encourage folks to read this paper. It's a really thoughtful contextualization of the results and provides endless lessons for others designing LC trials.

Screenshot of a news article from The Post titled βRepeatedly getting Covid doesnβt build immunity, βitβs more like accumulating damageβ,β written by Melanie Earley of RNZ and dated March 10, 2026. Below the headline is a portrait of leading vaccinologist and associate professor Dr Helen Petousis-Harris, shown facing the camera against a dark background. The article discusses how repeated COVID-19 infections may cause cumulative harm rather than building lasting immunity.
"Leading vaccinologist Helen Petousis-Harris says there's not enough awareness of the impact of COVID-19 on overall health."
"What many people don't realise is that getting COVID repeatedly is not like building immunity, it's more like accumulating damage," she says.

Iβm feeling really freaking down.
The eye pain that sent me to the ER six months ago that they couldnβt figure out what it was?
Well, I emailed them about noticing a pattern associated with the nose cold sores/eye pain and they think it might be:
herpes zoster ophthalmicus
Donβt get covid.

The hematologist I saw recommended an iron infusion, but I was hesitant with MCAS.
This isnβt a new finding though right?
In that chronic infection stimulates iron removal from the blood as a way of disrupting the infxn?
Or is my brain making that up?

Well, we did it. We go rid of about 3/4 of my closet bc I am too big for the clothes or they are too tiring/impractical to put on.
I had a whole drawer of snowboarding socks which we gave away, but I couldnβt bear to get rid of my snow/surf outerwear yet.

Could a Cancer Treatment Cure Autoimmune Diseases?
A βliving drugβ was developed as a cancer treatment. Now it is showing promise for conditions, such as lupus and multiple sclerosis, that have long been considered incurable.
Germany 5 patients with severe lupus received a single CAR T cell infusion and entered drug free remission.
Scientists reprogrammed their immune cells to remove harmful B cells.
The living therapy may offer hope for lupus and multiple sclerosis.

But when Porzingis addressed reporters afterward, before the fifth question, he let out a yawn.
An uncontrollable, extended yawn. Porzingis apologized, as if to make sure he wasn't being perceived as rude.
Then he yawned again, sending out a hidden reminder of the persistent exhaustion that is threatening to derail his NBA career: The 30-year-old former All-Star was diagnosed last year by Celtics doctors with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), an autonomic condition that can dramatically increase heart rate and cause dizziness and fatigue.
"I felt all right. Far from being in perfect shape," Porzingis said. "But I think for [the] first game back after a while, getting some energy back, feeling good. ... I think it's just a matter of time to get in a better rhythm."
Three mornings later, Porzingis woke up sick in his team-provided San Francisco hotel room and called the training staff. He went from being the spotlight story of the ABC afternoon game against the Denver Nuggets to being so ill that he couldn't even come to the arena.

Viral onset plus these symptoms suggest ME/CFS as a big possibility. Best for his long term health I think to take an extended break

When Iβm crashing my door dash bill for that time goes up.
I donβt have a full time caretaker and my spouse works.
So when crashes happen this is how Iβm feed.
Which is tricky bc eating low histamine limits options.
It is also cheaper than in home help.
