The manor itself is honestly one of my favourite aspects of the game. Besides the fact that I do just love an ornate spooky house, the design of that location is so immersive and memorable, which also makes it so easy to traverse - each room and area looks so distinct.
Finished @spookydoorway.bsky.social's The Séance of Blake Manor from @rawfury.bsky.social the other night - fully recommend it to anyone looking for their next Obra Dinn. Definitely tapped into my fondness for classic Poirot, but tinged with the Gothic and supernatural.
RE2 Remake is a masterpiece and I'll often just sit there and think about how good it is. The use of lighting and sound is incredible. The pacing is perfect. The RCPD is stunning. Mr X, Lickers, and W.Birkin. Also, Leon in full babygirl mode.
This really feels like unintended parody.
Thanks Ian! Freelance PR business is going well enough to keep me clothed and fed!
Good luck with the personal channel and the freelance! Really hope that things work out for you!
Good luck with freelancing! Always happy to chat business if you ever want any advice.
God I'm so excited.
God I love this song, it's so beautiful. Also a big fan of "Come On! Feel the Illinoise!" (Part I: "The World's Columbian Exposition" / Part II: "Carl Sandburg Visits Me in a Dream")
Illnoise is honestly a masterpiece, cannot recommend it enough - it's incredibly varied, both musically and in tone, and has some wonderful moments of silliness and joy amongst the melancholy
Hi @directsun.bsky.social - where's best to contact you about Zinetopia collab stuff?
Great article! What I like about both The Song of Achilles and Circe is the fact that they take great pains to challenge the patriarchal narratives inherent to Greek myth - the need to live up to expectations of glory (no matter the cost), versus crafting a life for yourself and others outside of it
Lord help you when you get to Ghost head
I love that there's someone more obsessed with the original Clock Tower than I am. Loved the video! とてもすごいビヂオと思います!
Ahoy is an absolute banger though - fantastic artwork and a lighter way to engage with those intense player vs player mechanics I LOVE about Leder.
100% agree - this has been something I've witnessed far too much from publishers, who use certain themes and settings for their board games like they're interchangable palette swaps, rather than giving them the time and thought they deserve.
So pleased to hear it went well!!
Day 3! We’re on track for this to be our best-selling Gen Con yet, and I can’t overstate how much I appreciate everyone coming through to share play reports from past titles or to pick up new ones. Stop by and say hey!
I have to admit, there's something about this week that's gnawing away at my mental health. Freelance life is always a little challenging, but I've been missing the structure and comradeship of a full-time job. I really love working with my clients, but things do get tricky sometimes.
Reminder that I'm down for full-time and freelance work in creative industries. 🤙Hit me up at info@alexmeehan.co.uk if you're looking for help with copywriting, PR, marketing and promo stuff.
I LOVE Vicious, Victorious and the entire Darker Shade of Magic Series. V.E. Schwab is honestly one of my favourite current authors.

I've also realised that I find something inherently comforting about '90s films - they're shot in such an understated way, with very muted lighting. There's honestly nothing I like more than a mid-budget '90s thriller.
The upside is that I've been watching a lot more films at home, whilst doing projects and admin and such - recently saw all the Mission Impossibles (besides Final Reckoning), John Wick 1, 2 and 3, Heretic, Heat, Minority Report, Babylon and K-Pop Demon Hunters
I've already missed so many films I wanted to see - Sinners, Final Destination Bloodlines, 28 Years Later...
I really wanted to make an effort to go to the cinema more this year, but it's been a struggle to find the time, energy and money to do it.
My favourite Pokémon game! Happy birthday! 🎉
Hey @ladyemily.nebula.tv - any update on the VOD for the Sonic Adventure stream? It looks like it's not available on Twitch, YouTube or Nebula and I'd love to catch up.
