Of course ideally you get Wright while keeping Perfetti and try to develop them into a second line.

I don’t love selling Perfetti at a low point in his value. I still see him having a good career as a second line winger. Especially if they can ever find him competent guys to play with.

But a Shane Wright type return is interesting. Perhaps the change in scenery works wonders for both guys.

It’s interesting to see the different mindsets from the organization between a guy like Ehlers and a guy like Stanley.

Ehlers was forever under-utilized and punished for every small mistake.

Stanley has gotten a free pass for years. Guess Nik should have tried growing to 6 foot 7

I’m a simple man. I don’t need the Jets to have the top few guys on this list. I’d even settle for, oh I don’t know, the 14th best guy.

Surely if they got somebody that good he’d get consistent first line minutes and they’d never let him go.

Lafreniere is exactly the type of risk I want to see the Jets taking. He seems primed to be the next guy that gets traded for below value and flourishes elsewhere. Similar to the bet Philadelphia took on Zegras that is paying off massively so far.
