I use github.com/pascalw/kind... to fetch the image and send the device to sleep for max battery life. The e-ink display + minimal design = perfect fit for this project! 😎
The dashboard is rendered in the cloud as a static image using JSX + Satori for the UI and Sharp to output an 8-bit greyscale PNG. (Why 8-bit? Turns out anything else crashes the Kindle. 🤷♂️)
