Though it took every ounce of my willpower.
Not to brag, but I just saw a mutual make the same joke that I made this morning and didn’t respond with a passive-aggressive quote-post of the joke in question.
After this, the show was pulled until May of '93, by which time most of the remaining season one episodes had been completed.
Fun fact: Since production was behind schedule, only two shorts (i.e., one episode's worth of content) had been completed by this time, and new episodes were set to air every weeknight.
Instead of postponing the premiere, MTV aired the same episode every day (twice a day, even) for two weeks.
