βthis just proves MJ would average 50 in todayβs NBA!β my friend if you dropped Michael Jordan into the 2026 NBA his career would last exactly one day after he found out about FanDuel

I don't go in for most media-bashing on here, but this new thing where Trump calls access reporters during trading hours and gives them the SCOOP that the war's about to end is pretty egregious.
Dire
LFG!
just saying: it's possible that "I'm gonna dramatically constrict my state capacity while plotting dramatic imperial expansion, and expanding my set of internal enemies while alienating most of my foreign allies" is the beginning of a world-historical masterstroke. but also possible that it isn't
A Bluesky thread. Daniel Radosh writes: Took my kid to a college fair for small liberal arts schools and asked each one, "how are you thinking about Al?" (hard to find a neutral way to phrase that so they didn't just say what I want to hear). Only one gushed about how they're integrating it into the curriculum (crossed it off the list) The most common response was a cautious "right now we leave it up to individual profs but it's not going away so we've begun an investigation into whether to formally allow it or adopt it, and how to engage with it critically." But one school said, "We believe in a human-centered education and Al is at odds with that. Honor code rules about plagiarism cover Al but we also don't waste effort cracking down on it. Instead we make it clear that using it is cheating yourself out of the education you presumably signed up for" I told the rep, "That's the best answer I've heard all day, now I need to ask about Leon Botstein," and she just deflated.
Look, you win some, you lose some @radosh.bsky.social
She should put this in her ads.
goddamn is this a breath of fresh air after Allred 2024
Trump is obsessed with buying his aides shoes, and theyβre too worried about igniting his wrath to take them off.
He means free for racists and perverts to post whatever they want.
I think Paxton is still the weaker candidate simply because he's so odious to swing voters and the vast majority of Paxton voters will still vote for Cornyn, but I don't think the difference is as much as people think.
Talarico's gonna win.
I was interested to read the article until I saw the author.
Gallup Poll (3/5/26):
Do you approve of $8 gas
No: 99%
Yes: 1%
Do you approve of Donald Trump's $8 gas policy
No: 46.6%
Yes: 38.9%
Unsure: 14.5%
The number of people coming out as trans is going to skyrocket.
The Secretary of Defense has consistently argued throughout his career on lowering the rules of engagement for the military. It's kind of been his whole thing! People need to be asking if that played a part.

Why wait?
She gave her Nobel peace prize to the guy and he just took it lol
βYou may be grieving at first, but, believe me, youβll be smiling when you see how much less youβre shelling out every month,β said President Donald Trump
I missed that one. I still think about the guy who commented on your contractor frustrations by bragging about the jobs he's quit on.
Remember that contractor?
We should abolish the United States Senate. It serves no purpose.
They are torturing and killing people in our concentration camps, and I wish more people were actively bothered by that
Do you genuinely think that this is how swing voters and non-voters evaluate candidates?
I'd be happy to elect a Joe Manchin if that's what it took to get rid of Cornyn, but Colin Allred ran that playbook last time and got clobbered.
Shouldn't Matt Schlapp be a registered sex offender by now?
Didn't Garcia offer to go to Costa Rica?
Texan here. I get it. We've gotten our hopes up before. But there's reason to think this year will be different. Some counties had more Dem primary voters than 2024 Harris voters. Talarico is a strong, disciplined candidate. Whoever wins the Republican runoff will have weak base support.
NOT JUST THIS:
Two other Democratic lawmakers in North Carolina who sided with the GOP to overturn vetoes of major bills (e.g. anti-trans legislation) are also losing in their primaries so far to progressive challengers.
This could be a major night in NC.
Hey, no spoilers. Some of us still haven't gotten around to watching it.
who made this
No you aren't.
