Esoteric Ebb by @chrisbodegard.bsky.social is the closest thing to a D&D play session with a hilarious, professional, yeah-sure-you-can-do-that DM. Reactive, funny, mysterious and genuinely smart with its worldbuilding. The first truly great Child of Disco.

In my homebrew games I usually run d100 tables with all kinds of One-Rule pockets. That usually makes encounters and dungeons a lot more chaotic/energetic. So I obviously had to add at least one major POCKET RANDOMIZER to the game. Still determined by a 1d100 though, which is fun.
Esoteric Pockets are naturally occurring randomized areas, regions, or 'bubbles' in this case, where rules are changed. It could be as simple as 'gravity-is-inverted', or it could be as weird as 'everything-is-blood-now'. And each play-through will have different pockets to find.

First color test of 'Old Prison'. It's an ancient snailfolk cistern which was then reworked into a temple after they were driven underground. Today, it's one of many reused pieces of infrastructure sticking around deep underneath the city.
It is also the deepest dungeon in Ebb.
