Someone needs to tell RFK we're already at war with Iran and don't need to start another one with New England.

As a former Washington-based reporter, I cannot *begin* to understand why the WHCA would extend a dinner invitation to Trump. No one -- no one -- should be so hard up for news or dining companions that they need to buddy up to a real enemy of the people.
Totally OK with regime change in Iran.
Just wish we'd gotten it first.

As a (very) young reporter, I spent a lot of time covering Jesse Jackson's presidential bid in 1988. My enduring memory is a cartoon from the late Doug Marlette showing a Black child sitting on the knee of an older Black man, who says:
"President? No, child -- but you can be frontrunner!"

Almost as pithy and relevant as, "... but her emails!"
Apparently, it's not enough to just trash our democracy. He's going after the entire planet.

So I always thought "we have a bridge we'd like to sell you" was a metaphor?
One of my favorite books. The audio version is excellent, too. I'll be amazed if the movie is half as good as the book.
Took the money that could have been spent to stream the Superb Owl and used it for a few more gratifying things at the Goldstream Farmers Market.
