Pretty good line up!
Guys. I finally finished Baldur's Gate 3.
Really talking "touch grass" to heart!
Will you hunt the Questing Beast?
Exploring how Glatisant, a GM-less TTRPG for two players, uses specific communication limits and a secret victory condition to create an Arthurian story: www.skeletoncodemachine.com/p/glatisant

At the end of the game you get a surprise, a magician's reveal of the objective the Beast has been hiding the whole time. It's always magnificent as both players immediately recontextualize their experience with new information.
"The limit imposed on in-game communication is clear, precise, and makes thematic sense (i.e. the Beast canβt talk)."
SCM does excellent analysis on a specific mechanic of my game that other reviewers have missed. They have a habit of doing that - subscribe if you like that sort of thing!
This is the first #TTRPG from the comics team behind Monsters X Myriads - everyone welcome them to the space!
If him fits him sits.
The cover of Glatisant by Lucas Zellers. The title is in a red medieval font. The entire cover is divided into small windowbox-style illustrations like a heraldic display. In the windowboxes are images like banners, a knight's helmet, a sword and two fantastic antlers, hoofprints, and a crest for a shield
An example from the interior of Glatisant. On the lefthand page, the Jack of Hearts draw: The Green Knight. Includes an illustration of a green headless man on his green horse and text about what happens (for both the Knight and the Beast). On the righthand side, entries for the Queen of Hearts: Guinevere, The King of Hearts: Mordred, and the Ace of Hearts: Blessing of Passage
The cover of Dreadfarer, sepia-toned like a late 1800s expedition photograph. Image is a photorealistic man in khaki clothes looking down on an archaeological dig revealing an enormous skull with sharp teeth and a third eye
An interior example from Dreadfarer. The lefthand page a place description for "The Crow's Line" with two photos, the exterior of a museum and its interior, showing a mammoth-type skeleton whose tusks look like multi-pronged horns or hands. The righthand page is labeled The Jungle of Dsangl and describes a location you can visit
Adventures await...
for knights, try Glatisant from @lucaszellers.bsky.social + @graftbound.bsky.social (a playing card point crawl for a knight and a questing beast)
for treasure hunters, try Dreadfarer by @neonrot.bsky.social (alternate-past eldritch exploration in a cursed land)
He just looks like he likes sharp things, the little gremlin
Character count did me dirty on this one. I have varying involvement in all of these from writing and editing to marketing. Each is a story on its own!

Thank you! Means a lot to be described that way.
@graftbound.bsky.social is developing Werewolf + Android to be released in summer 2026 as part of Zine Club from @plusoneexp.bsky.social. Give them a follow to keep up with more from the game!
The entire game is #humanmade; I wrote the first draft by hand with coffee and a Max Cruise album on repeat.
The game uses the Hints & Hijinks system by @pandiongames.com where investigators use polyhedral dice for skill rolls and discover clues represented by playing cards. Meet your client, comb the city, uncover the crime, and examine what it means to be human!
A hand-bound zine displayed on a mechanical keyboard. The title reads "Werewolf+Android: Ashcan Edition, a quantum mystery TTRPG for two different inhuman private investigators in a neo-noir, cyberpunk future." The cover image shows the left side of a chiseled male face and the right side of a snarling wolf's face.

My January zine is live! Werewolf + Android is a quantum mystery TTRPG for two different inhuman investigators in a neo-noir, cyberpunk future. Meet your client, comb the city, uncover the crime, and examine what it means to be human with this playtest release of the game!

It is impossible to overstate the influence Beast Wars had on me as a kid. You've captured the mysticism and wonder of this character perfectly!
I wrote a #ttrpg that's basically this. Want to play?

Emily brought Graftbound to a Maryland art festival to show how our games help you make art for the simple joy of it. Look at these snails!
Look at all this grungy little art happening! Feels so human
Hostile architecture?!? Tell me more!
Pieces and miniatures from the Flamecraft board game, all showing cute tiny dragons
Flamecraft hits different with minis hand-painted by my friend Nate! The council of wyrms at Flagons & Dragons.
Hey Cardboard Alchemy, when are you going to let me write the TTRPG for this charming little world?
Necromancer Heretic is on my to play list!
The box and board state for Doomlings, a colorful card game with a cartoony aesthetic.
It's game night and I'm evolving with @doomlings.bsky.social - it's a fast-paced, chaotic, hilarious tableau builder in the same clade as Unstable Unicorns and Unexploded Cow.
This hooked me immediately.
