Have been working on character designs for my friend's series, #Borrowed

I've been really happy with how everything has turned out and the story has been a blast to read!

The first season is complete with a whopping 27 chapters, with more characters and twist and turns involved, as well as even more to come in the future, so if you ever have the time, and a silly tiny pseudo-romance sounds up your alley, please check the story out! 💙

I love these characters so much and coming up with goofy, erratic (maybe even scandalous) situations for them has been an absolute joy.

All the character designs were done by @4bitscomic.bsky.social, who did an absolutely fantastic job translating my ideas and making them visually real, while adding his own flair that made them come together even greater.

And Sally, the naturalist who can make a home out of anything, having a particular interest in shoes. Hyperactive and incredibly easy going, aloof and mostly in her own world, but very friendly to all around her.

Ivy, the survivalist who lived her whole life in the wilderness. A small girl who while is incredibly anxious, constantly tripping over her words and herself, possesses immense strength and battle prowess. Also is surprisingly adept with human technology.

Ari, the self proclaimed Spider Queen, with an even more playful side of seduction. A master of web weaving with no shame to her name, backed up by her spider partner, Celine.

Lyra, the Borrower woman living in Clara’s walls, infatuated so much to the point of bringing her down to her level. Very mischievous, a proud hoarder, and a massive flirt, always ready to give the last word.

Primary characters include:

Clara Harper, the human woman living alone in her home, suddenly shrunken down to 3.5 inches tall. Incredibly hard working and resourceful, a crafter in her own right, and someone who has absolutely had it with your BS.

It’s my take on the trashy harem manga I absolutely love, mixed in with the myth of Borrowers, in which a woman is shrunk by the Borrower living in her walls, and now must adjust to life in her house at a tiny size. Shenanigans ensue!

Over the course of this year majority of my free time has been working on this project, that I now feel most comfortable to openly share. I’ve been writing a web novel called “Borrowed”.
