Life in the Zashikiro: A Discussion with Hiroshi Harada: An in-depth interview with Hiroshi Harada of the independent Kiryukan production company: covering his filmography, personal history, political views and more...
It was an incredible honor to hold this interview with @kiyubaru.bsky.social about his work and underlying motives as an artist and political activist. Greatest thanks to Harada for his generosity. I've been really looking forward to sharing this:

I was born just a few minutes before the midnight leading from the 2nd of December to the 3rd. If you're awake at such an hour and happen to see this, welcome to the birthday purgatory zone.
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to see Intravenus' premiere. I'm still kind of in disbelief of how everything worked out. It's one thing to make the film in your creative space, it's another to see people get involved with the final outcome when it's being performed.
As many followers would know, my approach to film is greatly influenced by Harada's theories in both style and politics. It's really an honor to have his feedback and support for Intravenus and I give my greatest thanks to him and everyone else working with the Kiryukan.
Alongside what I'd already posted, Hiroshi Harada's @kiyubaru.bsky.social have also provided a handful of insightful statements regarding Intravenus and its upcoming screening, a few of which are linked below:

If you're around the Atlanta area, I hope you come to the screening as it really is an experience made for the theatric space with its incredible acting and style of filming and sound design. I can't emphasize enough the talent our actors brought to the film.
While I don't know a thing about promotion, I do know my love for the lost art of lobby cards, so in preparation I did this set of cards built up from numerous production stills.
With the screening being just a day away now, here is the complete set of lobby cards I designed to promote the Buried Alive Film Festival premiere of Intravenus at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta, GA.

A complex, closed room exists deep within a dark, multi-layered labyrinth.
Experience with all five senses in the darkness of the theater space the intense vibrations of the images, sounds, and words that unfold there...

...And it is only when the audience actively thinks about and accesses the various keywords mentioned throughout that a door will open, leading to freedom from the suffocation of reality.
We recommend seeing Intravenus.
Eisenstein advocated "intellectual cinema" as a form of dialectical fusion between science and art.
Intravenous is an intellectual horror film that skillfully combines this dialectic with a nostalgic sensibility of 1970s horror and a discussion-based political drama from the same era.
The second trailer for "Intravenus" has been released.
As the world moves in an ever more dangerous direction, we believe the significance of this film's release in 2025 is enormous.

A newly edited trailer from my upcoming horror film, Intravenus.
This one's got more footage from the movie, including the video synth goodness that's typical to my stuff now. The movie will be premiering this Friday at 7PM as a part of the Buried Alive Film Festival at @plazaatlanta.bsky.social.
If there's one thing our crew and cast made certain of, it's a one of a kind film and not something you'd want to miss: Anatomical Venuses, industrial noise, phrenological black comedy, ghosts of the Futurist movement in a nightmarish present day and more...
Quick reminder for those in Georgia that the Buried Alive Film Festival Intravenus tickets are currently being sold on the Plaza Theatre''s site! Seating will sell out so get your spot before it's too late.

Long-time followers will also remember that the Buried Alive Film Festival featured my prior film project, The Face of Oblivion, in their 2023 selection. If you're around the Georgia area and you've wanted to see this film, now will be your chance.
Exciting bit of news today: I'm happy to announce that Intravenus will be having its first public showing this upcoming November with the 2025 Buried Alive Film Festival in Atlanta, GA. More news will be coming very soon about the date it will be shown and where you can get your tickets.
(Epilepsy warning)
Yesterday I edited the trailer for my newest micro-budget film project, Intravenus. Aside from sending out private screener copies, I'm currently planning possible ways to have the film shown.
If you've seen the original 1970s teaser for Mario Bava's Bay of Blood, certain stylistic details of this trailer may ring some bells. I really had 70s to early 80s Italian film on the mind while editing this.

With Intravenus' recent completion back on the 12th, now is as good a time as ever to reveal its three primary poster deigns. The first and third versions were designed by me while the second was painted by @idyllopus.bsky.social. More info on the finalized movie is to come soon.
