It was such a glorious day today! Everyone was so happy to be out in the delicious spring air and sunshine with no coats and no frozen water buckets. We're not naive enough to think winter is "over" but that won't stop us from enjoying these beautiful warm temps for now. 🌞

Monthly donations are the lifeblood of Merrymac. Lots of people chipping in what they can creates a predictable stream of support that allows us to budget and plan responsibly. We are not trying to expand or take in truckloads of new animals, we just want stability and security for our residents.

The turkey breed most often depicted in cartoon images is bronze turkeys. One thing that always surprises guests is how very beautiful they are in person - not just "brown" at all, their dark feathers glow with iridescent colors in the sun and they have stunning striped wing feathers, too! 🦃

Oh nice! We've tried so so so many veggie burger recipes over the years and found many good ones but never a GREAT one. We'll have to try these.
