Contrary to its 5.7 rating on IMDb and its 70% Rotten Tomatoes rating (not bad tbf) I’m really enjoying this. Get through the first episode where Curtis is really annoying as the obnoxious sister and there’s a lot to enjoy. I binged 5 episodes in one day,
I’m assuming Karl Urban’s character is Irish in this as he’s said “shite” a few times. That’s been the only clue so far tbh.

I have zero interest in horse racing or gambling in general (thank god!) but I love Cheltenham. Makes no sense, I know, but it’s a great laugh.

This was ok but it’s nowhere near as clever as it thinks (our phones are turning us into zombies - oh wow what a radical idea) and it’s so desperate to be cool, it comes off kind of annoying. Not bad though and fans of Black Mirror should enjoy it.

If you’re in the mood this is a surprisingly watchable Predator ripoff that suffers in comparison with a load of forgettable, interchangeable characters and a ton of cliches (screenwriters please retire “you’ve got to be shitting me” from your scripts). Still, there’s lots of action and derring do.

I enjoyed the new season of Ted. Very much a live action Family Guy with a fair amount of flat jokes but saved by a few laugh out loud moments. The ending made it seem like they were finished with it but I’d gladly watch more.

It’s been years since I’ve encountered someone who gave me such a creepy feeling.
The scene where he’s pointing out his next door neighbour to Mel Gibson and he says “do you see your woman? She’s an awful weapon” and Gibson replies “that’s lethal”.

I have one of those ferocious hangovers that make me question all my life choices leading up to this moment. As Danny Glover would say in Lethal Weapon “Diplomatic Immunity - it’s just been revoked”, although I’m sure there’s a better quote from that movie I could use.
So weird. It really gave me the creeps. Every alarm bell in my head was going off. Not to be overly dramatic but have you ever met someone and thought to yourself “this person could be a serial killer”? 😂
He gave me massive unrehearsed Tom Ripley vibes. A guy who thought he could get by on easy charm but don’t you dare dig deeper. Asked me if I had a problem with him but when I said no and explained I used to live there and have many English friends, he still couldn’t reply. He’s a scout leader 😳

Tonight at a party I got talking to a guy. He had an English accent (the party was in Dublin).
I asked him where he was from, he replied London, I asked what part he said London. I told him I lived in London for 30 years and he couldn’t tell me what part of London he was from.
