Finally started a proper first run with Love Eternal by
@brlka.com, published by @ysbryd.net, after seeing the game these past few years. As a fan of VVVVVV and Celeste, this game is right up my alley. Love that the core friction is in knowing when to switch directions to account for turning delay.
Had an absolute blast with Slay the Spire 2's coop. I played the board game and didn't enjoy the finicky mechanics, so I'm glad a video game exists to do all my coop math and card shuffling for me LOL. Wld like to see a bit more coordinated strategic gameplay and positioning.
US time, happy to do mornings my time. Lmk when
yeahhh I am not a fan of film grain either myself lol tho I didn't find it as oppressive in RE9
if you ever want to do a Marathon run, lmk!
He was just a baby π with a gun
wonder what Brie Larson, self-confessed Nintendo fan and Super Mario movie star, thinks of Pokopia
Ez Rook 2v1. Honestly rly loving the Rook gameplay of coming up from zero to hero.
wait, that's crazy. you mean to tell me less than 40% of players have exfil-ed successfully 7 times?? and less than 30% completed 21 runs, and less than 24% of players have killed 14 runners? I'm in the minority?!?
Don't get me wrong, I still have the softest spot for Tarkov - but man, 5 - 10 mins queue times for raids are tough, when I can be in the next Marathon raid in under 30s is a godsent for the busy gamer
As a long time Tarkov player, one of my most fav things about Marathon is that 1) if you're short on time, Rooks are great 10-15 mins runs to earn some cash or kill some players; 2) if you die, no stress. You just spam space bar, and you go from death to next run in under 20s.
my god the new Utada Hikaru feat with Charlie Puth is so damn good

New Starter Kits for @godotengine.org are coming! Once the two new ones are released I'll start updating older ones from Godot 4.5 to 4.6! β¨ #gamedev

AGENT ASHCROFT? WELL HOW THE HELL ARE YOU? UMBRELLA? GOOD IDEA, YOU NEVER KNOW WITH THIS WEATHER.
Ooh ok yeah forgot about cryo archive. Wonder if its more a βyou have to do stuff to unlock itβ type map, kinda a labs situation in Tarkov w the keycards so you canβt just freely go there yet
I think Nintendo are sickos for locking the most joyous game of the year behind a whole console purchase lol (/sarcastic)
Nah they adding that for season 2 i think
the duality of man
Just had to cut together a sample of the thrills I had w Marathon this weekend. Marathon feels like a cross between Tarkov and Apex for me, which is so cool, because I absolutely love the high octane action and also the slower, tense moments.
Last weekend I got emotional following Leon and Graceβs journey out of trauma into hope. This week I got emotional following Dittoβs journey to rebuild Pokemonβs society post-humanity. I also got emotional with how many players I killed in Marathon and the loot I got away with.
From what Iβve seen so far of Pokopia, everything is designed for pure delight and surprise. From the depth of the sandbox gameplay, emergent interactions of Pokemon w each other, w the surroundings and what youβve built, to the deep Kanto lore cuts - this is a GOTY contender.
LOL Rach and I checking out a trailer for War Machine on Netflix and realizing Alan Ritchson is basically Chris Redfield in real life
On this beautiful Saturday, all I did was: played Marathon solo and with friends, killed some won some; played Slay the Spire 2; played Overwatch QP 5v5, 6v6 and ranked with friends. Checked out Division 2 Realism Mode. Life is good, man.
Itβs such good vibes
more MARATHON. it's so, so tense, constantly tense. we were pinged by an enemy radar through a wall and heard footsteps, then silence. we waited for them in a closed room, breathing heavy... nothing. escaped through vents somehow already broken open. there, in the rain, their dead bodies ... ... ...
Here's me being an annoying mosquito in
@marathonthegame.bungie.net to lure a guy to me so I can shotty him to death XD this game is so fun for all the trap plays
Huge congrats to the devs at @bitegginc.bsky.social for the launch of Lost and Found Co on Steam π iβve had the privilege of watching them pour so much love into this game over the last few years. This is one of the most charming hidden object game youβll play ever
After 10 hours, I really am enjoying Marathon's PVP. even if the fights are chaotic and messy, I think Bungie's world class FPS design shines through.
As predicted, my main issue is the lack of maps. Rotating between 3 maps for the next 3 months might get tiresome.
this Slay the Spire 2 launch boring af π©
