Within seconds of creating a second account, after my first one was shut down just two days after it was created, my account was closed again. This happened despite the fact that I hadn’t posted anything or followed anyone. I was only in the process of adding a profile photo, yet I received an email claiming that my account was “spam” and that it was “causing harm.” What kind of logic is this? The painful truth is that the account was shut down the moment it became clear it was created from inside Gaza. It seems we are no longer allowed to write or speak about what is happening to us here. They are not afraid of content itself, but of our voices and the reality we carry with us. Millions are spent to silence these voices and to erase the truth. I am exhausted by this platform and by how our photos and videos, which document real suffering, are treated as “violations of community standards,” as if pain itself has become a crime. What is happening is not simple moderation or policy enforcement. It is an attempt to erase our existence and bury the truth. And honestly, this is shameful and unbearably painful. God I hate english. Had to count syllables for a poem and somehow 'Strengths' has only one syllable and 'Oasis' has three, even though the latter is way shorter. In portuguese you pretty much just consonant and vowels pair an that's it. What the fuck is 'ngths'.

When you find your community internet can be great, but the way social media algorithms are set up seeds discord. Even our brains start seeking it. Sometimes I catch myself opening comment sections on controversial posts, even though I know it's going to be bad for me.

As someone who had severe agoraphobia, I can totally understand them. Specially if you grew up on the internet, your references of human interaction are gratuitous disgusting, mean comments, and you start believing people will treat you like that in real life.

Honestly I think AI would still do a better job than anyone in Trump's administration.

It's always important to remember about another factor: class. Rich against the poor overpowers any other values they might have, if they even have any other.

The major issue is that people would need to send pictures of their documents to said platforms, which could be leaked. I wouldn't trust my documents on big tech companies. Beyond that, this could be used by governments to track anonymous opposition, putting people's freedom and lives at risk.

My main gripe with DuckDuckGo is that it depends on Bing, which is not great either. Hope one day it becomes fully independent.

The general lack of details and washed out colors are the best sign. Everything looks artificially smooth.
