I have always believed in god and still do, no one tells you that god and religion are separate. I was not raised on the bible and only vaguely knew about it through movies. Started reading it recently and it's actually really good. There is so much wisdom in these texts, much better than church IMO

I was raised in a Baptist church and no one explained to me WHY we were going to church and what all of this meant. The cherry on top was my aunt (who took me to church) was abusive so I slowly became agnostic until very recently
