Let's share tips for being frugal.

- when you stock up, buy stuff you'll actually eat

- when fresh food gets toward the end of its usable life, toss it in your freezer, make jam, make soup, dehydrate it, etc

- use chips at the bottom of the bag for salad/casseroles

- make sure to rotate goods

Some thoughts about living in crisis mode for long periods of time, from someone who's done that in her personal life and is in a career that mostly operates there. Even if it's hard, you need to find ways to ground and take care of yourself or you WILL burn out and you WILL crash out. (thread)
