Tried to make a Qbert joke but TIL (that Q*bertha exists AND that there is a Q*bert fan wiki)
I try to take it easy on the militant atheists. Iβm sure a lot of them have valid anger and hurt, and have been treated poorly by religious people who saw them as a threat. I donβt expect them to be familiar with religious people who *arenβt* threatened by them, so weβre often breaking new ground.

Strong winds sweep across Lake Michigan regularly, and could provide an ample source of electricity. So why aren't there any wind turbines on the lake?

The idea that America isnβt for everyone who wants to be an American is something that makes my blood boil. Posting a photo of yourself as a Congressman smiling next to these words is wicked. Itβs antithetical to the concept of America.
A nine panel comic strip following two figures as they traverse a barren and desolate landscape - their journey takes them through ruins and abandoned structures of a former civilisation - we realise that this was once our world and the destruction is the result of a massive global war - we also learn that these ruins and wastelands are the home and country of the victors in the war! The strip is titled Deadsun.

Industrial food production broke a 10,000-year cycle of backbreaking toil that was far outside of our natural tolerances for stress and effort because it was the only way for large numbers of us to eat consistently, and you people still have the temerity to bitch about this.
I think a lot of us millennials & older really take it for granted that we were the last of only a couple generations where there was an all-encompassing campaign to encourage literacy. Everyone used to agree upon it. There were commercials with your favorite celebrities just being like, "READ!"

Figurines of Brady Bunch and Partridge Family fighting each other
I have created a diorama of the Partridge family attacking the Brady Bunch family. My life is very boring.
I think the fact that he is a seminarian helps. He's not a politician who just happens to go to church; he's viewed as having put his money where his mouth is from a religious credibility standpoint much more than those others.
sorry to be an old-fashioned scold but there is something deeply pathetic about being an adult and shoplifting just because you kinda feel like the rules don't apply to you
Barbie driving down the road singing, text reads "downloading data for reuse. bottom panel: barbie and Ken screaming with text reading "there's no README"
It's important for the public to be able to reuse #RescuedData, but the context a README or similar documentation provides is necessary for understanding.
Be like Barbie. Help yourself have a great day every day, and on this #MemeMonday, remember to document your data.
I will also repeat that I use Claude Code for you know, coding tasks, so I am not speaking as some sort of LLM Vegan or Luddite or whatever - my entire career in civilian drones is based on my belief that itβs crucial for people who want to fight against evil use of tech to understand the tech.

I don't watch but my understanding is that the fans love the "out of the ring" televised backstage drama bits more than the actual wrestling bits?
They are actual actors, it's just that half of their acting is stunt acting in the ring. The other half is their dramatic scripted promos and beefs and conflicts in between the matches.
Wrestling is probably the easiest sport to perform in a 100% scripted way. Only one Globetrotters team...

Several dozen folks did
Some even dubbed music over the original clip.
I haven't been able to get this out of my head.
So I give you
