2024 was the year I finally got around to reading the first two Three body problem books.

Really enjoyed them and it's made me think a lot more about science in the context of society and particularly existential threats.

A little example, and I might be wrong, but it seems Tamil doesn't have the word "the", there's another way it is sort of conveyed...and it's blowing my mind!
Learning to speak Tamil, while being able to understand about 60% of spoken Tamil is so strange. And learning from first gen immigrant family is fun and frustrating. I find myself having to clarify and re-clarify meanings because well...Tamil is quite a different language to English and Latin langs
