Before seeing Evil Dead the Musical⦠and after⦠and a gratuitous splattered fan shot.
Putting these pins from @enthralledyet.bsky.social back on the wall in my new place has really helped make it feel less like a temporary abode. Plus, theyβre absolutely gorgeous!
Banality comes, as itβs unstoppable creep flows more than it ebbs these days, for us all. Even those who have collected the shinies.
I mean there was the whole recovery after Covid thing and then they had issues with their first manufacturer not being able to scale. And then they had issues with one of the colourways so spent about a year trying to solve it. Was it frustrating? Absolutely, but I am happy I have them now.
Look at those shinies!
My Pixels Dice finally arrived!!! I backed this KS all the way back in 2021!
I'm headed to #TGX2026 in Melbourne this weekend as part of the #TGXCreatorClass and I can't wait to check out all the stuff AND things!!
(the cat is not invited. the @ravensridgeco.bsky.social raven might be, so long as it behaves)
And now the dice are back on the shelves (though not in their final positions. Need to pick up the new book case for the craft supplies so I can make more room for dice because this isnβt all of them π€£
V5 is, in my opinion, a streamlined mechanical system that is easier to teach to new players. And while theyβve retconned chinks of previous lore (yay for unreliable narrator shenanigans), it is pretty open enough to pull elements from previous editionsβ¦
And this is just one edition from one box of booksβ¦ I have approximately 16 other boxes of ttrpg booksβ¦
V5 books are back on the shelf, baby!

Just once I want to play a character that isnβt so weird or fugly that folks actually like them π’
But then I would need to choose to play that kind of characterβ¦ π€
Well, thatβs not gonna happen π€£
Behold! The whimsy! I hate the feel of sweaty watch bands so I wanted to make something that could be washed and worn. Now I need my jewellery making tools so I can finish it with some β¨embellishmentβ¨
Have you published on the Storytellerβs Vault?
I would love to pick your brains about the process and your experience with the platform.
Well, I found out what features are restricted for me in Australia until I βverify Iβm an adult β¦β
Look, we know truth when we see itβ¦
What do we do when we feel overwhelmed by everything going on? We have a meltdown, then we create, because art and whimsy in the face of adversity and global-scale cruelty is revolutionary.
the kind of wisdom one would hope to find in anxient tomes π©Έ
Woohoo!!!!! π₯³
They're hoping we'll forget about this in a few months and that we'll resubscribe to Nitro so they can get back their funding for this nonsense. Cancel yours and do not forget about this.
Aaaaah. I am using an iPhone emoji that is a pink heart, so that may not translate if youβre using a different operating system.
But this is another layer to the problem. That symbol will be read out as a different code, so strips any context for the symbol.
Now imagine if you have a more complex emoji as your bullet point.
It delays getting to the point. What takes a sighted person with no cognitive difficulties a fraction of a second to assess the contextual meaning of that emoji image, will take someone using a screen reader longer to hear.
The way it causes delay is, if youβre using a screen reader, you will hear it like this:
Pink heart emoji this is a bullet point
Pink heart emoji this is another bullet point
Pink heart emoji this is a third bullet point
Not quite. Iβm sure youβve seen copy in posts like this:
π©· this is a bullet point
π©· this is another bullet point
π©· this is a third bullet point
Did you know?
Using emojis as bullet points in your social media posts and emails can be an accessibility nightmare for those using screen readers?
The reader will βread outβ each emoji using its description, causing massive delays to the read.
Use Unicode bullets (* or -) instead.
