Ten years ago today, I saw Les Misérables on the West End. My very first West End show, and…Wow. Absolutely incredible. Feels appropriate to stick the DVD of the 25th Anniversary on tonight. ❤️

One thing that always strikes me about Life of Brian is how they never poked fun at Jesus himself. Quite a key thing they did, and arguably the right thing as well.

One of my favourite recipe finds over the past 12 months has to be @nigella.bsky.social's go-to gochu. Easy to cook, for starters (which is a bonus when I sometimes struggle in the kitchen), and - most importantly - it tastes brilliant as well.

I haven't done Silverstone since 2022. I really want to go back, as it's such an amazing event, but at these prices? I'd almost rather go to one of the European races instead.

How on earth can they justify charging that much?

Did the SBB dining car back in May. Slightly on the expensive side, but still absolutely worth it - particularly with the stunning scenery en route!

Finally got to see Tornado in the flesh. Very happy. 🙂🚂

Getting better at doing homemade chips. Can’t really do thrice-cooked ones, but the twice-cooked ones I had tonight were amazing. Still need to work on them, but I’m happy with the progress I’m making. 🙂

Eurovision last night was incredible. Being part of a live semi-final makes such a positive difference to the crowd’s energy, and I enjoyed every second of it. ❤️

Wow. Finally got to see the legend that is Conchita Wurst perform tonight, and she did not disappoint. Eurovision week has well and truly kicked off in style. ❤️

It just doesn't make sense. Are we as a country not learning anything from what's happening in the States?

Oh, and let's say there's a very good reason why most people buy mint sauce instead of making it from scratch...😂

Only five months since I moved into my own house, and I just thought today would be a good excuse to try it and do something slightly outside my comfort zone. Got some leftovers for tomorrow, too. Not sure what I'll do, but I'll see what comes to mind.

Attempted a roast for the first time today. Was lamb, because of course it was, given it's Easter. 😛 Other than the gravy ending up being more like glue (too much cornflour - my fault!), I did a decent job. Lamb was lovely & tender, and I'm really impressed with how good the roast potatoes were! 😊

Done boring adult things today. Couple of loads of washing on, went to the tip to get rid of some rubble that came from the attic, then bought some stuff for my hanging baskets. Yes, me doing gardening. Whoever would’ve thought it? 😂
