Our friend the Pumpkin Toadlet has patches on their back and head that glow under black lights! Their skin and organs contain a neurotoxin called tetrodotoxin! They are also known as Spix's Saddleback Toad and are one of the most common Saddleback Toads! (photo by Aisse Gaertner)

when fantasy / post-apocalyptic media does that thing where there's a wide establishing shot and there's a toppled giant statue that's become part of the landscape, that shit's always the best. Bonus points if the characters have to travel across the giant blade of its fallen sword to reach a peak

Today we visited the two Lascaux replicas, words can’t do them justice! πŸ₯ΉπŸ˜ Both were amazing in their own way: the older one felt intimate and sits right by the original cave, while the newer one is stunningly precise thanks to modern scanning. The photos are from the smaller exhibits afterwards.
