I grew up on SNAP benefits in Illinois. It wasn’t a “handout.” It was the hand up that helped me stand here today as a candidate for Congress.

Today, a family of four in Illinois generally must earn under about $53,000 a year to qualify.

The worst DHS Secretary in history has lost her job.

Noem’s legacy will be remembered for lawlessness and violence against the American people, and for disrespecting democratic norms we hold dear.
