he did, more or less, jail her. he was suffocating her, ignored how she was wasting away in misery. she needed freedom, safety from her own thoughts which he did NOT provide her. personally, i think his actions made her fear even worse off.
confining her to the spring court mansion and the grounds was bad enough, but when he actively locked her in the house, and only her, knowing what she went through, and thays justified to you? he COMPLETELY missed the mark, didnt even take her feelings and experiences into consideration
sure, i get that he wanted to protect feyre. but he completely missed how much she changed from her time under the mountain. she was caged up in a jail cell, fighting for her life, coming out of it with a ton of ptsd
ive seen an argument after feyre and the rest of spring court returned from under the mountain, tamlins actions were justified and the right choice
