You MUST know that by prioritizing paid subscribers, you're going against your own mission of stopping the exploitation of creators, right? Those who can afford upfront costs get their foot in the door early, have extra time to learn the app...they're given a head start because they're paying you.
Don't give them any of your energy. When I saw their weird comment, I headed over to see what they're about. It's not about country. Let's just say they agree about Sydney Sweeney's "jeans" being good. Immediate block.
Ngl, sometimes I miss going to Target. But I have saved SO much money since January…and it looks like I’m not the only one.

Is there a word for “gullible coward?”
Nothing makes me want to invest in a bidet more than the Charmin bears.
And I do mean “getting rid of.” Now that it’s going to become more of a norm, states and districts will just eliminate books where a character could remotely be read as LGBTQ+ to avoid trouble and accusations of religious discrimination.
So with them okaying opting kids out of having to endure the horror of reading books with LGBTQ+ characters, are we getting rid of Shakespeare? I mean, all the characters were written with the understanding that only men would play the roles.
“Chuck” is a favorite show of mine. “Tangled” is arguably my favorite Disney movie. And both of them bum me out a bit now. (Nothing new has happened as far as I know. It’s just that The song “Rivers and Roads” - iykyk - was on, and I got sad.)
My husband truly disliked musical theatre. Then we watched the #TonyAwards from a cheap motel in Tennessee during our honeymoon road trip - had had no choice. #Hamilton performed. Pure magic. Long story short, we went to NYC just to see Gypsy a few months ago - because #Audra! - and it was his idea.
It wasn’t even Gold Peak! It was Pure Leaf! I was so thrown off by the spot that I couldn’t remember anything other than “tea in a plastic bottle.”
I don’t think I’ve said “this is weird. It’s weird,” while watching something that wasn’t RENT until the #Tonys tonight. This message has been brought to you by that awkward Gold Peak Tea spot.
I get that they do important things outside of the chambers. I get that emergencies happen. But the fact is that our system is incredibly broken when, in this day and age, we don't have ways of ensuring *every single senator and representative* has to vote, every single time. They are OUR voice.
"Two senators who were set to vote for the resolution, Republican Mitch McConnell and Democrat Sheldon Whitehouse, were absent, allowing the resolution to fail 49-49." And the average worker is often treated horribly for being absent when nothing important is happening www.cnn.com/2025/04/30/p...
Thanks to social media, we have a near infinite amount of real time info & commentary from all over the world. Future historians will have to specialize in social media, but we could be living in the most “historically accurate” period thanks to randos who wanted to share memes & do silly dances.
We’re actively seeing how much the media can be suppressed or manipulated, so I’ve been sadly thinking about how little history we probably actually know because the “primary sources” we use are inaccurate. Weird midlife crisis, I know. But!
The US doesn’t and can’t grow coffee at scale. It’s imported.
As someone who votes in every election, I will never understand what gives me the right to vote on judges.

Have you ever sent a text to the wrong person and found yourself overcome with embarrassment? Just remember, it could be worse.

He's at over 13 hours. Let's go, @booker.senate.gov !
I miss the grainy livestream days. I know a lot of people do. Simpler times. The Before Times. That show was just so full of hope, and so were we. I wonder if we’d miss it as much if we weren’t in the darkest timeline. #swifties #erastour
It’s super jarring when you forgot you ordered a hot chocolate and take a sip expecting a mocha.
What’s wild is that I can go for months without walking long distances, but the second I get to NYC, I’m suddenly able to do 7-10 miles almost nonstop each day.
Bummed not to see KC. We get skipped a lot! (Though we don’t have great streets downtown for getting sets etc. in - Olivia Rodrigo’s truck drivers did an amazing job with so little space!) This seems like a pretty small tour. I wonder if there are some details sbeing ironed out for more stops. 🤞
Andrew with the eyedrops will always be my number one #LoveIsBlind moment.
I wish my dem rep was half as outspoken as you. She’s lowkey acting GOP in many ways.
Either the alien invasion has started or a nearby transformer blew. Ngl, I hope it’s the aliens.
Now that many K-12 texts are digital (no printing $) are pics that could be color still black & white? B&w pics make things feel long ago, removed. E.g., color ones of Civil Rights movement exist; color film & printing were $$ & slow, so there are fewer but not none. (“It’s on purpose” = debunked.)
