Even Ottawa’s cycle path potholes put on their best for the King’s speech from the throne.

Air Canada as a P3 partner raises a lot of questions for me, especially considering the role the airline industry has played in past efforts for HSR. How they don’t have a conflict of interest being a competing industry is not something I understand well.

The announcement is great however I’m still a bit skeptical this will actually be built in the end.

Canada is getting high-speed rail The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, today announced that Canada is developing a high-speed rail network in the Toronto-Quebec City corridor.

This is a truly transformative project if implemented and constructed well. I hope it can also be extended to Windsor in later stages.
