Spoofed again @brianrose.bsky.social! Same portal, 3 hours down a 4wd road in the middle of nowhere with only satellite signal. Second time in a month. @ingress.com.
Not to say I told you so @brianrose.bsky.social but here you go… the spoofing here is totally escalating. Sedan Crater takes incredible work to get into with your phone. You gotta know people. You don’t just level up in Vegas and go hit it a few hours later.
There needs to be some way to make agents who buy spoofs think twice. Doing nothing is going to encourage more and more spoofing.
You gotta do something @brianrose.bsky.social. This portal is three hours down a rugged dirt road. The only signal is satellite. It’s a strategic location that’s been used to field over Las Vegas. A spoofer takes it out and gets banned in hours but we have no way to restore? @ingress.com
