Am using tailscale to lock down a server I'm playing with.

Even my host's own console UI in their admin portal can't access it.

Nice.

Well, it's nice until something goes wrong and even Tailscale won't let me in.

I've been reading around openclaw in my downtime, and it's stunning how many of the "I used openclaw to run a business by itself" posts are about openclaw creating a business somehow related to ... openclaw.

Funny how your Obsidian graph can look like a new planet.

[ Just putting this out there so if a planet is discovered that looks like this, I can get "first dibs" claim and finally ascend to my rightful place as Supreme Planetary Overlord ]

I've been using Claude Code in an automated workflow to build out a small WordPress plugin.

Bizarrely, it bugged out writing the GPL license. Anthropic consider that a no-go area.

I wonder why?

Fake Laravel Packages on Packagist Deploy RAT on Windows, macOS, and Linux Malicious Packagist Laravel packages install a cross-platform RAT enabling remote shell access and system reconnaissance via C2 server.

Was watching a video about Felix AI and how it has some huge amount of money in a cr*pto account, based on getting 40% of the trading fee. Given that amount on 1 coin, I wondered who's getting the 60% on all the coins using that system.

Claude responded thus. Love the last line.

1. Installed openclaw
2. Tried to get telegram working
3. Can't even get the telegram plugin enabled.
4. Wasted 2 hours.
5. Gave up. Back to more productive things.

Used the "code" tab in the claude code Android app to take a relatively complex, nested tab UI layout written in Elixir, and turn it into livewire components using Flux UI.

One-shotted it.

Not an overly difficult task, but nice to see it done in one go.

If you're going to get Ai to write your Medium content, get it to check it's maths or better yet, check it yourself.

Yes, the inference being done by chatjimmy.ai/ is fast. Stunningly fast.

But I'm equally impressed by the actual http request/response times. How the heck have they managed that?

Anyone know how to uninstall the Claude and Figma claude code mcps/plugins below? Tried the usual commands, and they deny the existence of anything to do with figma and notion

That moment when you're so deep into the CLI coding LLM that you suddenly realised you've not opened VS code since yesterday.

Laravel's new MCP server creation framework is a thing of beauty.

10 minutes and I've joined my app to my Claude Code command line.

Sometimes, I'll ask Claude to inject a little humour into something as it's mocking-up a page. Why? Because it actually brings a smile to my face, and sometimes, even a snort.

"Has a restraining order against Comic Sans."

Supabyoi - Self-hosted Supabase without the headaches $25/month. Unlimited Supabase instances. You bring the VPS, we deploy Supabase, handle upgrades, and manage backups.

Just came across Supabyoi - get a cheap VPS, set up unlimited Supabase instances without the $25 + $10/project costs for Supabase's hosting. Great for quick projects, POCs, tests, etc

It's a sad statement on the human condition, but if you're doing anything that involves user generated content, always assume people are going to use it in ways that you, your vendors, your backend services, and/or your other customers are not going to be happy with.

I'm using Flux UI on a real project for the first time, and I've got to say, it's a well thought-out library. Every time I go in to work out how to tweak the component slightly, there's an option for it. Well done @calebporzio and @hugosaintemarie

So how much is it possible to get done with AI? I thought I'd see what my github activity has to say about it.

In this context, I'm working solo, so I'm not snarled up by meetings, discussions, other people's point of view or corporate approval for things.

Details below.

Dammit. My secret best place for getting decent domain names (leandomainsearch) has changed to a bog-standard domain search like the other 5,063 others.

Time to vibe code something, I guess.

Do I get a medal or something?

How to cause chaos and confusion, part 3,265:

- Let the user pick a date format for a key data item. ✅
- Give them a handful of options they could use. ✅
- For each option, give them an example date. ✅
- The piece de resistance: make the month and date fields indistinguishable. 🎉

An update on my recent MOR verifications:

Polar: I couldn't get past their use of Stripe's verification (photos not good enough), so I gave up.

Paddle: not heard anything for a week.

Creem: came back with things I'd missed. I did them. They verified in less than 24 hours. 👍

One of the things that brings me a little joy is the way Todoist parses English into actual due dates. So elegantly done.

How did the release of Anthropic's Claude cowork plugins cause SaaS company stock to take a beating?

Cowork is only on the mac, and nobody with a real job uses those anyway.

Had a need for a software app yesterday, that I want to use 2-3 times only.

No open source versions. No pay-per-use versions. And the SaaS ones were $45+ per month.

3 hours later, while watching a B-movie on Netflix, I have my own working version and a possible future revenue stream.
